I have had the pleasure to work at Abraham Clark High School for the past 30 plus years as the Teacher/Coordinator of Health Occupations/Interactive Television/ High Schools That Work & Personalized Student Learning Plans. I have experience in the fields of Nursing, Health Education, Distance Learning and Personalized Student Learning Plans. I currently teach the following courses: Health Occupations/Dynamics of Health Care in Society for three periods a day where I supervise students in their clinical "hands on" experiences in three different health care settings. Health Careers which allows students to learn about careers in the health field and to help prepare them for their clinical experience in Health Occupations the following year. The last course in the Health Occupations Program is called Health Co-op and Emergency & Clinical Care. These courses are for senior students and will help to prepare for post secondary training. Students who participate in the Health Occupations Program can obtain up to 12 tuition free college credits with Rutgers School of Health Related Professions through a special articulation agreement that I have arranged . I also design interactive distance learning programs for my students and other teachers to allow for distance learning opportunities with other school districts across the United States.
