Emergency and Clinical Care
Emergency & Clinical Care course is a dual credit course that is offered with Rutgers School of Health Related Professions. Students can gain 2 tuition free college credits with the university and also gain dual credit with Abraham Clark High School. Students will learn how to respond to medical emergencies as related to each body system. They will learn medical terminology, medical abbreviations and the related anatomy and physiology of the body and its relationship to various types of medical emergencies. The students will also get American Red Cross CPR and AED certified to help prepare for their post graduate studies in the health field. Students will also maintain a personal academic growth portfolio that can be used to help them gain entrance into college, get a scholarship or use for a presentation on job interviews.
