Annalise Silivanch is a teacher and author with a background in writing and reporting on environmental, travel and community-oriented issues. She has taught for ten years, including service as an Area Chair of Humanities.
She is the recipient of an Outstanding Faculty Award (2010) and Student Feedback Award (2015). She received her M.F.A. from Sarah Lawrence College, where she studied nonfiction and poetry under former U.S. Poet Laureate Billy Collins and former N.J. Poet Laureate Gerald Stern. Annalise is the author of Rebuilding America’s Infrastructure and Making the Right College Choice (Rosen, 2010). She has received two teaching awards: Outstanding Faculty Award (2010) and a Student Feedback Award (2015).
As a teacher, she is interested in facilitating communication within the multiple intelligences spectrum and arming students with writing skills that compliment both college and career.
